_This guide applies to all Wonoloers. Links in this article go to 1099 resources._

Below are common Wonolo terms and where to learn more.

**Wonoloer / preferred Wonoloer**

A Wonoloer is a user of the Wonolo platform who has completed account registration to accept jobs posted on Wonolo. A Preferred Wonoloer is designated by a Requestor (business) to receive early access to that business’ jobs.

**Requestor (business)**

A Requestor is a business that posts jobs on Wonolo. Some jobs are single-day; others are multi-day.

**W-2 vs. 1099**

Jobs on Wonolo are either W-2 (Grow2 by Wonolo) or 1099 (independent contractor). You’ll see this on the job details.

**Tryout**

Some jobs require a paid Tryout on-site. Completing a Tryout earns that company’s badge and can unlock future jobs with that Requestor.

**5Ps of Wonolo**

Successful Wonoloers show: Professional, Prepared, Positive, Polite, Punctual. These traits can help you unlock more opportunities.

**Breach of contract**

A breach of contract is a material breach of the [Terms of Use](http://wonolo.com/terms/). Receiving Breach Point(s) limits access to jobs and may lead to account deactivation.

If you accept a job and can no longer work, you must withdraw at least 12 hours before the start time to avoid Breach Point(s). A no-show (not working and not withdrawing) leads to 3 Breach Points, which can limit access to jobs.
